That's a very good point, Remarkl.

From what I understand, the idea of a personal God would come from the fact that a decision had to be made to create the universe at some point. If the universe is not eternal to the past, there has to be a point when the universe didn't exist, and a later point when it did, right? [This is not 100% precise when you are talking about the creation of time itself, but it's good enough for illustration]

Thus, a decision that came from outside the physical universe had to happen, i.e. a mind.
